Friday Nights Under the Lights Finale Showcases MUSTANG’s Rising Stars
Trexlertown, PA — The curtain closed on another unforgettable season of Friday Nights Under the Lights at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center, with the Mustangs once again proving themselves among the nation’s best.
In one of the evening’s headline events, the Madison Cup, rising talent Liam Trepte delivered a strong ride against world-class competition, finishing in an impressive 5th place. The Madison, a demanding, high-speed relay race requiring both strategy and stamina, highlighted Trepte’s continued growth as one of the sport’s premier young riders.
The night also celebrated the season’s top honors, where our riders took center stage. Joshua Frederick was awarded the coveted Junior Rider of the Year title, a recognition of his consistent excellence, determination, and leadership both on and off the track. His season-long performances embodied the strength of our unique development model, which prepares athletes from grassroots to elite competition.
Adding to the team’s achievements, Liam Trepte capped off his breakout season by finishing 2nd overall in the Pro Men’s Rider of the Year standings. His success across multiple disciplines and consistency against deep fields marked him as one of the brightest young stars to watch in American track cycling.
TEAMBSR’s dual presence at both the top of the podium and in season-long standings underscores its status as the world’s only complete pipeline for track cycling development, guiding riders from their first laps to the world stage.
As the lights dimmed on the 2025 Friday Nights Under the Lights series, the message was clear: TEAMBSR isn’t just competing, they’re building the future of the sport.
