TEAMBSR WELCOMES CARIBBEAN JUNIOR TALENT ELIJAH JAMES TO NEXTGEN TEAM

East Greenville, PA — July 17, 2025 — TEAMBSR, the international nonprofit and elite development cycling team, has officially welcomed 16-year-old Elijah James to the squad as its newest junior guest rider. Hailing from the Caribbean, James represents a new era of cross-continental opportunity as he begins a six-week racing and training block in the United States, supported by TEAMBSR.

Known for his explosive power on the velodrome and mature race instincts beyond his years, Elijah has been turning heads across the Caribbean track scene. His move to the U.S. is more than just an athletic opportunity, it’s a symbol of TEAMBSR’s mission to create a truly global pipeline for talent development, from grassroots to the world stage.

“Elijah is exactly the kind of athlete we built this program for,” said Ethan Hendricks, CEO of TEAMBSR. “He’s young, hungry, and driven, but he comes from a region where structured support for world-class development is limited. Our goal is to bridge that gap.”

While in the States, Elijah will train alongside TEAMBSR’s NextGen junior riders, compete in high-level U.S. track events, and gain exposure to national-level racing environments. He will also receive mentorship, equipment support, and recovery services—all designed to help him chase his Olympic dreams.

For James, the experience is already transformative. “I’m grateful for this chance. It’s not just about racing—it’s about learning, growing, and seeing what’s possible when you're surrounded by people who believe in you.”

TEAMBSR continues to set itself apart as the world’s only nonprofit cycling organization that supports riders from their first ride to the elite and Olympic levels—combining education, mentorship, mechanical skills, and professional-level racing under one roof.
